The goal of data science is to improve decision making by basing decisions on insights extracted from large data sets. This course is an introduction to the most common concepts and tools to extract such patterns across many practical examples. 

The course is designed for social science students and professionals interested in quantitative methods. Basic knowledge on statistics and familiarity with base R language is required.
