IPSA-Flacso's summer school does not offer a lodging service; however, we make available these options for you.

For your own safety, we recommend that you use only and official taxi or Uber service for your transfer from the airport to your accommodation.

Flacso Mexico has limited parking space, but there is a walking distance parking lot (CHEDRAUI) with convenient prices. Mexico City offers a great variety of transportation means. Public services include the subway, buses and Metrobus, whereas private transportation includes traditional taxis, small buses, Uber and private cars.

We strongly recommend making most of your travels in official taxi services (from your hotel) or Uber service, given that street taxis are not safe enough.

Here’s a list of all the ways you can travel inside Mexico City.

The Mexico City Metro covers large areas of the city and the suburbs. There are 12 lines differentiated by number and a color. The cost per ticket is $5 Mexican pesos, and it can be purchased at the box office of each subway station. The nearest stations to FLACSO-Mexico are Copilco and Universidad, both of line 3 (green).

Schedule: Monday to Friday from 05:00 to 24:00. Saturdays from 6:00 to 24:00 and

Sundays from 07:00 to 24:00 hours.

Metrobús is a rapid transit system. There are 5 lines, each with a distinctive number and color. The fee is $6 Mexican pesos per trip. To use it you need to buy in vending machines the "Metrobus electronic card" which costs $16 Mexican pesos (Note: vending machines don’t give change). The nearest station to FLACSO-Mexico is Perisur, Line 1.

Schedule: Monday to Friday from 4:30 to 24:00. Saturday and Sunday 5:00 to 24:00 hours.

Bus service is a conventional public transportation network. It is distributed by all roads in the city and has established stops per route. The cost per trip, depending on the distance traveled is from $4.50 to $6 Mexican pesos.

For security reasons we recommend taking taxis from official sites. The service is provided by telephone and can be called from anywhere when required.

The initial cost is $13.10 Mexican pesos, and the total cost depends on the distance and travel time.
