Cameron Wimpy


Cameron a political scientist with interests in elections, voting, political economy, and (primarily spatial) research methods. He currently serves as the Research Director in the MIT Election Data and Science Lab, where he manages research on the scientific study of elections. Previously, he worked as a contractor in Arlington, VA where he worked on projects for government and non-profit clients. Before that he was a post-doctoral researcher and graduate student in the Department of Political Science at Texas A&M. He grew up on Crowley's Ridge in the Arkanas Delta.
